The Oncology Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines to our customers around the world. We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Marketing – Field Suggestions/NBE. The position will report to the Associate Director, Regional Marketing Oncology


This position will work closely with Oncology Marketing brand teams and serve as a liaison between the Oncology brand teams and field sales teams. NBE will employ near-real-time customer interaction data while leveraging customer affinities and optimal tactic sequences to make healthcare provider engagement initiatives significantly more dynamic, more relevant and help deliver improved customer experience. This Associate Director role will play an integral role for development, execution, and optimization of Oncology Field Suggestions (actionable insights to sales teams). It is an exciting time to be joining our team – as we are working with urgency to onboard multiple tumors to be part of NBE and build the capabilities that support our vision of becoming the leading Oncology company within the US by 2025.


Key responsibilities will include and are not limited to the following:

  • Act as member of US Oncology Omnichannel Strategy & Operations (OOS&O) team, contributing to the rapid implementation of leading-edge integration of our field and digital promotions for oncology, including scoping and planning plan work for onboarding additional products or customers to NBE.

  • Manage Oncology Pan-Tumor team’s NBE timeline across HQ and field activities, ensuring all interdependencies and roadblocks are flagged for the immediate team, inclusive of field sales programs with brand teams, field suggestions performance reviews, and field change communications and activities.

  • Lead NBE Field Change Workstream Meetings, organizing across training, communications, and field, to ensure robust field leadership insight is incorporated into the NBE planning process, and that timely coordination of NBE activities with the field is achieved.

  • Recommend, investigate, and guide implementation of Veeva enhancements that are actionable by the field and enhance NBE data available from field interactions.

  • Represent NBE team at the Pan-Tumor FIT to gather insights for continuous Field Suggestion and NBE improvement.

  • Support development of Field Suggestions for launch and in-market brands by: preparing marketing teams for evaluation of their data sources and related strategic actions that can be included in Field Suggestions insight creation, collaborate with stakeholders and vendor to build, maintain and enhance tumor field suggestions library, ensure accurate and timely PRT review of Field Suggestions asset library, continually assess and identify opportunities to increase effectiveness of customer engagement across field digital and in person promotion via Field Suggestions and related Veeva tools that can be integrated into NBE, and Assess utilization metrics at the suggestion level using analytical tools regularly to monitor performance and inform content enhancements and franchise reviews.

  • Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to ensure implementation/inclusion of new data sources (-e.g., Prognos, Komodo) Field Suggestions.


Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of (3) years' Pharmaceutical business experience. Oncology experience is preferred. Knowledge of field sales systems is preferred.

  • Strong program and project management skills, leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills experience.

  • Experience with collaboration, influencing without authority, and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to manage significant complexity and flexibility

  • Strong work ethic, good judgment, confidence in decision-making and professional presence
