This Opportunity:


Palladium is seeking an Associate to support the implementation of health activities under the USAID-funded EpiC project and other global health projects as needs arise. EpiC is seeking an Associate to support COVID-19 response programming in Latin America, and other activities as needed. The successful candidate will provide project management and technical support for a range of activities.

Reporting and Supervision:


This person will report to the EpiC El Salvador Country Activity Manager and will be a part of the Project Management Unit. This team is responsible under the leadership of Practice Area Lead and the management of the Director, Project Delivery, for the management and delivery of projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to workplan implementation by applying management and coordination tools, facilitating collaboration, tracking deliverables, documenting bottlenecks (and proposing solutions), and sharing lessons learned
  • Help coordinate diverse virtual technical teams including scheduling regular meetings, generating agendas and minutes and following up on action items
  • Assist with monitoring activity progress and spending to ensure planned activities align with cash forecasts, pipeline expenditures, timelines, and workplans
  • Coordinate with project delivery team to ensure that operations run smoothly for project implementation, including managing consultancies, developing job descriptions, and tracking deliverables
  • Participate in preparation of written materials, including reports, research articles, PowerPoint presentations, curricula, blogs, and briefs. This may include conducting literature reviews, drafting, and editing
  • Work collaboratively with others to shepherd documents through stages of drafting, review, copy editing, and finalization
  • Contribute to activity and project reporting requirements including compiling inputs into quarterly and semi-annual reports
  • Support knowledge management by organizing and maintaining deliverables, reports, and products per client and Palladium guidelines
  • Contribute proactively and energetically to a team that welcomes new ideas and innovations to improve outcomes
  • Participate in business development efforts, as required and appropriate
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Professional fluency in Spanish


Professional Expertise/Competencies Preferred:

  • Past work experience managing USAID or other donor-funded projects
  • Experience working internationally
  • Formal studies in international development, public health, or similar field
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work in developing countries when travel and health conditions allow
