As a member of the OpenGov People Team, the Associate HRBP will assist the HRBP for R&D in supporting our employees across the organization to meet R&D goals and objectives. Together with the HRBPs, act as a single point of contact of HR aspects for our employees and the delivery of HR processes and the implementation of HR programs. The Associate HRBP should provide linkage across the organization, so different silos do not proliferate but rather all parts of the organization are working in sync.
Responsibilities:
Support the HRBP for the R&D organization to help them achieve/exceed business results, strengthen team performance, culture, and retention while mitigating legal exposure
Assist with bi-annual performance review, goal-setting/scoring and compensation processes
Manage goal setting process in Small Improvements and the Performance Review Process Coordinate lunch-and-learns and manager training sessions
Promote ongoing manager engagement through slack channels
Onboard new managers and assist with new manager resources
Manage off boarding process for US + offshore employees
Assist in the development of events, training, materials etc to support a successful remote culture
Manage internship programs
Manage compliance reporting and administration (Soc2/FedRamp, EEO) as well as training (Workplace Harassment, Security Training)
Work with our external immigration team to support our employees with immigration status
Assist with RFP processes, notaries, and documentation
Manage the anniversary program and budget
Assist with the calculation of monthly, quarterly and annual HR metricsManage the VOE (verification of employment) process
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
1-2 years of experience within Human Resources with increasing levels of responsibility required or in a role with transferable skills
HRIS system savvy / administration / operations experience preferred
Proficiency in Mac and Google applications, such as sheets, slides, and docs preferred
Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to deliver results with a wide degree of judgment, creativity, and latitude expected
Excellent priority setting and project/time management skills with the flexibility and adaptability to respond to shifting business needs
High professional standards and a strong customer experience mentality with an energetic, positive attitude can quickly build partnerships, relationships, and trust
Radical Empathy when supporting and uplifting colleagues, particularly in high stress situations
