Rate of Pay $18.00 - $28.00 pay commensurate with experience and enthusiasm
Start Date – Can be as early as Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Interviews beginning on Sunday,
October 8, 2022.
Time – 2,4 & 8-hour shifts - Multiple Shifts Available
Benefits – We also have a live-in opportunity which has an $800.00 / month value and possibly with a car.

The person you will be caring for is just getting home from two weeks in Bedford Hills CenterRehabilitation Facility. Our goal is to focus on Safety, Hygiene and Comfort.
Time will tell how much care-giving is needed which might be more or less. Right now, we factored in 56 hours per week. Your feedback will always be taken into consideration to assess the level of care that is needed and overall health and welfare. Shift communications will be through Direct Messaging (DM) to the Health and Financial DPOA.

Riviera University students in the nursing / health care program are encouraged to apply. You will be exposed to home health care experience, to Medicare benefits, physical therapists, occupational therapist, and more.

Journal entry and or DM of daily activities as well as mental and physical observations
Daily Schedule development for exercises, nutrition and an overall balance. Kind, patient caregiving is what we are most interested in. The person being cared will most likely take part in the light housekeeping listed because she appreciates and desires orderliness within the home.

Personal Care

· Dressing changes

· Assistance with personal hygiene – sponge bath to showers

· Wash hair

· Skin care

· Assist with getting dressed

· Assist with getting around the home

· Assessing energy levels

Toileting

· Assist to the bathroom

· Assist to commode

· Assist with urinal / bedpan

· Incontinence care

Interaction

· Go outside

· Shopping / errands

· Doctor’s Appointments

· Hobbies

· Chatting and joking around

Mobility

· Assist with walking

· Reposition every 2 hours in bed if need be

· Transfers / Bed / Chair

· Assist with PT exercises

Nutrition

· Prepare soft meals / snacks

· Assist in developing nutrition-rich tasty menu

· Assist with feeding

· Encourage / restrict fluids and food

Light Housekeeping

· Laundry

· Dishes used during your shift

· Wipe down counters

· Sweep floor

· Empty Trash

· Maintain bathroom cleanliness

· Make Bed / Change Linens

· Light Vacuum / dust
