Sweetwater Pools is looking for motivated individuals looking for employment in the swimming pool and aquatics industry. The General Manager position requires that you be a self-starter, have the ability to sell, possess strong organizational skills and the ability to direct day to day operations of commercial pool service. • College degree preferred but not required.

• Two (2) years experience in the aquatics field with two of these years in a management position OR three (3) years experience in the aquatics field with (1) one in a management position.

• Certified Pool Operator certification preferred but not required.

• Self-starter and highly motivated.

• Experience in leading teams of 5 or more members.

• Ability to prioritize, manage many tasks, and direct daily operations of business.

• Effective communications skills.

• Willingness to work long and hard hours during spring and summer months.

Responsibilities:

• Marketing and Sales - develop customer base by preparing and presenting swimming pool bids to identified client base.

• Recruit and hire Service Technicians required to manage service routes.

• Facilitate Company Training - organize and oversee the training of staff in aquatic safety, swimming pool operation, and customer service.

• Opening Pools - prepare swimming pools at the start of the season for opening, including compliance with local codes for permitting.

• Oversee Pool Operations - ongoing support and project management of customer swimming pools including pool maintenance, cleaning, repairs, restroom cleaning and weekly safety inspections.

• Closing Pools - close swimming pools at the end of the swim season and prepare pools for winter.

• Customer Service - guarantee customer satisfaction with the operation of the swimming pool before, during, and after the swim season.

• Financial Management - manage and be responsible for revenue and expenses for company.

• Company Organization and Administration - manage office administration including payroll for service technicians, weekly reports, sales management, and office operation.

• Repair and Maintenance - manage repair and maintenance of customer’s swimming pools to make certain each pool meets respective swimming pool safety codes and operational requirements.

Compensation: $35,000-$45,000 based upon experience, plus quarterly bonuses.
