Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an Attorney in Manhattan, NY.

Job Summary & Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate expertly and clearly, both written and verbal, with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to undertake complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Policy Manual.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Movaris, Oracle Financial system.
Duties:
  • Obtain information/documents necessary to prepare Board Resolutions, Briefing Materials and Board Resolution Submission Checklists for the Board Meetings
  • Review contract documents, price justification and documents related to the bid process
  • Review for accuracy to ensure purpose of Board Resolution is conveyed
  • Liaise with various departments concerning Board items related matters
  • Follow up with various departments to obtain necessary approvals and on any pending information/documents
  • Revise as needed Board items, as requested by the Office of the Corporate Secretary based on its review
  • Work with various administering departments to answer any questions/concerns raised by the Office of the Corporate Secretary regarding Board items
  • Assist other departments regarding submission of its Board Resolution Submission Checklist
  • Assist with various projects as needed
  • Update monthly Board Summary Listing
  • Attend Meetings related to Board items
  • Serve as backup to the Unit Supervisor
