We are looking for a professional with pediatric experience to fulfill a role as a Authorizations and Referral Supervisor. Your objective will be Provide daily supervision, direction, and problem resolution while demonstrating proficiency to provide backup to Authorization and Referral team members, and provide training and support to new team members. Create and maintain competencies for authorization and referral team and ensure subordinates are compliant with competencies at the conclusion of their training. Facilitate authorization and referral team meetings, communicate revenue cycle data this will require professionalism and will be part of a strong team interacting with patients and the company as a whole. Building and expanding the working relationship with organizational leaders and team members.

You will also be part of enhancing the patient experience and providing support to ensure they have a one of a kind experience leaves your company as the standard for patient needs, building relationships that will support fulfilling patient needs and maximizing

your potential with future patient experience while maintaining a positive and rich office culture.

Requirements:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of authorization and referral experience.

Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience.

Experience of managing 10 or more employees in a supervisory role

Knowledge in oncology, hematology, and orthopedics authorizations preferred, but not required.

Be able to simultaneously manage the challenge of daily tasks

Willing and able to pivot in the midst of changing situations

Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding & Medical terminology

Experienced with authorizing insurances and coverages

Excellent communication and soft skills to connect and relate with patients

Maintain strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Position requires sedentary work, occasionally lifting up to 10 Pounds.

Pay: $54,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
