Smart Chevrolet Collision has immediate openings for experienced Collision Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Accurately Completing Services and Repairs on Customer vehicles. Technicians are expected to be experts in their craft and are expected to complete services and repairs with excellence, integrity, precision and extreme care.

• ICAR certifications are a plus!

• 2yrs plus experience preferred.

• Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer standards

• De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Maintain/assist with identifying and or sourcing parts and material.

• Work as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehicles.

• Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s requirement for productivity.

• Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.

• Keep work area clean and organized.

• Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-know, etc.

• Previous automotive technician or military equivalent experience preferred

• This position will require lifting, carrying and pushing of materials (over 50lbs)

• Must be able to wear protective equipment including respirator.

• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.

• Must have a valid Driver’s License

We are a family run Chevrolet Dealership looking for skilled Automotive Body Technicians. Top pay, bonus program, excellent work enviroment and management on site. We primarily perform repairs to inventory but also have a thriving insurance and customer collision business as well.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
