Auto Body Technician / Painter Job at Manhattan Motorsports
We are looking for an “all around” Auto Body Technician, who has a broad range of restoration skills. We are a Porsche approved collision center so work with Porsche vehicles is preferred. Our body shop team works closely with other teams that disassemble, reassemble, and refinish parts.
All Body Restoration Technicians work under the supervision of the Shop Manager and are also required to work independently. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who is positive, capable of working in a team-based environment, and very detail oriented. Restoration experience is preferred but candidates with other high-end automotive experience are encouraged to apply.

Ability to perform panel fit and straightening

Lead work and filler work

Organize the disassembly of necessary parts for labeling and storage until reassembly.

Part stripping, prepping and painting. Experience with PPG or Spies Hecker paint.

Positive attitude, strong team player, willingness to help other members of the team.

Fully capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without injury. Full body mobility.

Ability to listen, take instruction, and work independently.

10 Years of experience.
