Main responsibilities of an auto hauler will include transportation of vehicles to dealerships in a safe, timely and damage free manner. Vehicles will be inspected for prior transit damage, loaded onto semi trailer, transported to destination, unloaded and delivered.

We're seeking motivated individuals to add to our team in Avon Lake, OH. Training is offered and typically ranges between 3-6 weeks, just depending on how quickly you should learn. Training is followed by a 30 day probationary period and after completion, you will officially become a Teamster.

You will be working outside in the harsh elements and will be taught to load and unload vehicles. Flatbed experience or heavy equipment hauling is huge plus for this role.

Requirements:

• Must live within driving distance to Sheffield Village, OH
• Must possess a current and valid Class A CDL
• Must have a minimum of 6 months tractor-trailer commercial driving experience with completion of certified trucking school. If you have not attended trucking school, 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience is required.
• Qualified candidates must be able to operate a manual semi transmission (no automatic restrictions)
• No more than a combination of 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents in the last 3 year period
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public
• No previous alcohol convictions in the past three years or any time while operating a CMV

The Avon Lake terminal delivers mostly to the Elkhart, IN area with some freight delivering in OH and MI.
