SUMMARY
The Auto Part Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventorying and selecting used auto parts to be removed. The Inventory Specialist position works in a fast pace environment that requires a person that is detailed oriented, can do data entry, and is ready for a challenge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Verify and record purchased vehicles delivered to the facility from weekly Auctions, as well as test for working engine and or parts.
  • Record on each vehicle received the Assigned Stock Number entered for the Plant.
  • Record and enter inventory all useable parts for each vehicle.
  • Accurately log and photograph all parts saved for inventory with assigned stock number with complete and detailed accuracy of the part types per company guidelines.
  • Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments and record indirect time in a timely manner.
  • Verify that proper documentation are attached.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers always.
  • Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • High School Diploma and or relevant industry experience (e.g. insurance adjustment, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vehicles and parts, basic computer skills, willingness to work in an outdoors environment.
  • Ability to be a team player and follow protocol guidelines.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Openness to learn new systems.
  • Prior automotive and or insurance adjustment experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of vehicles mechanical, electrical and electronic components.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changes while ensuring tasks are safely and efficiently completed with little or no supervision.
  • Physically able to stand for long period of time and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Willing to work for overtime (weekends) as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED-equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of consecutive crane operations experience.
OTHER JOB DEMANDS

Work is generally performed outdoors in all-weather elements such as hot, cold, rain, or snow and personal protective equipment is required. Working hours may vary and evening or weekend work
may be required. You may be required to lift and carry light weights.
