AutoCAD Detailer:
Midsouth Steel, LLC., is a steel fabrication and erection company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. We currently have an opening for an AutoCAD detailer. This is a full-time position, that will be responsible for AutoCAD detailing of miscellaneous steel building components and connections. This position will also be responsible for utilizing computer software to convert AutoCAD drawings to files to be used for the fabrication of structural steel and steel assemblies.
Education/Skills/Abilities:
· Proficiency with AutoCAD/Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong comprehension of construction documents and building construction
· Knowledge of steel detailing and building codes is preferred
· Excellent written/verbal communication skills
· Highly organized
· Keen attention to detail
· Strong time-management skills
