AutoCAD/Project engineer Job at Methane Specialists
Engineering firm in Ventura County is seeking an Auto-CAD Draftsman with working knowledge of design-drafting standards and practices for residential and commercial structures with ability to turn notes & specifications from engineer into working drawings for construction purposes.
Duties include:
- Develop drawings with minimal supervision and oversight.
- Structural details, including footings and sections.
- Review and checking of drawings for accuracy and coordination.
- Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings.
- Check shop drawings & submittals.
- Preparing drawings for building department submittal and plan check corrections.
- Prepare transmittals.
- Maintain and update CAD standard detail files Candidate must meet these requirements to be considered for the position.
- Minimum of two years drafting experience.
- A.A. in Drafting design technology or related field.
- Proficiency in AUTO-CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, web browser and file formatting.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and to work as part of a design team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per hour
