Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Automation Manager is responsible to oversee, manage and maintain the maintenance programs and industrial projects while managing and coaching the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Look for process continuous improvement, in terms of productivity, efficiency, safety, quality and reduction.
• Look for maintenance cost reduction, in term of
• downtimes
• Preventative and planned maintenance
• Spare parts management
• Outsourced maintenance costs
• Troubleshoot process equipment to identify potential errors and develop solutions to eliminate the recurrence of problems
• Determine the parameters of the production process and prepare the optimal setup for each
• Train and coach operators as needed with new and existing production parameters
• Work out industrial projects within budget and time frame including
• Flow charts, drawings, engineering and specifications
• Contractors’ consultations and quotation selection
• Work planning, coordination, supervision and specification compliance
• Must promote a safe working environment and good GMPs
• Committed to providing a safe food product
• Works within all regulatory requirements
• Perform all other related duties as requested

About you:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification and a minimum of two years experience in an industry
• Must be able to work within SOPs, SMP, ISO, HACCP and OSHA standards
• Experience with processing equipment such as presses, mills, pumps, pneumatic conveyors, burners, hydraulic groups, compressors and steam generators or ejectors
• Proven track record of of problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Must have experience within maintenance software - automation/spare parts management (SAP and Maximo is a plus).
• Must be able to freely move around the entire factory
• Design methods for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality and safety
• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Eddystone, PA 19022: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Maximo or similar software: 2 years (Preferred)
• manufacturing maintenance: 5 years (Required)
