Honda of El Cajon is in need of an Internet Sales Person. We offer a professional environment in a store that’s been here for 40 years. Compensation is commissions on the front and back gross, daily and weekly spiffs as well as monthly bonuses. We sell both New and Pre-Owned Vehicles. Looking for someone who is great with follow up and building long term relationships with our guests. We have a large advertising budget and great inventory to sell from. Great Management and Finance team to support you. We are looking for someone with a great attitude who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, trainable and coachable. Must have experience and a proven track record. Willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The Internet Sales Advisor sells automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; and by developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales.
  • Uses our CRM to field internet leads and follow up with customers. Must maintain a 50-60% appointment set rate and a 50-60% show rate. Must also be able to maintain a closing ratio of 9-13% minimum.
  • Understands automobiles by studying their different features; comparing and contrasting competitive models and inspecting the vehicles.
  • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries, and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests and then matching requirements and interests to various models.
  • Demonstrates vehicles by explaining the intricacies of different models, taking test drives, and explaining warranties and services.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing, and collecting payment.
  • Delivers automobiles as needed.
  • Provides sales management information by completing reports.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership and for accomplishing new and different requests while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with sales appointments
  • Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates
  • Provide customers with initial product information & direct them to the appropriate dealership resources
  • Present initial financing options based on customer needs
  • Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show
  • Participate in team & process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management
  • Utilize CRM tracking system daily
