Intro

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will have a foundational role in designing, developing and testing our cloud applications and services utilizing current IT industry standards and procedures.

The Role

You will design, implement, test and deploy service-oriented architecture-based software in alignment with well-architected standards in a highly scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a multi-faceted role which covers all tooling and aspects of the software development life cycle.

The Day-to-Day

· Create well-formed cloud strategies and manage the adoption process

· Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks

· Design and develop architectures for cloud systems

· Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner

· Identify the top cloud architecture solution to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company

· Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages (C# primarily)

· Test and debug various .NET applications

· Review and refactor code

· Deploy fully functional applications

· Troubleshoot and communicate issues impacting the success of assigned projects

· Document development and operational procedures

· Contribute to development estimates and project risk assessment

· Map code-based solutions to requirements

· Mentor junior developers

· Create cloud-based programs

Your Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, related fields, or equivalent experience

· 5+ years in .NET/C# software development.

· 5+ years in SQL Server / T-SQL.

· 5+ years in Angular (or similar) front-end web development

· 4+ years in Azure cloud software development

· Experience working in Microsoft Azure

· Experience with full-stack development

· Experience with web applications development in JavaScript/TypeScript, Blazor, HTML, CSS

· Strong understanding of REST API development

· Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

· Experience with Azure microservices including Azure Functions and Logic App

· Experience working in Agile, Lean or Continuous Delivery teams

· Experience in the healthcare industry a plus

· Track record of success in implementing complex software projects

· Strong understanding of writing secure applications using security solutions like Active Directory, OAuth.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
