BAKERY SUPERVISOR

MONTANA CORRECTIONAL ENTERPRISES

This position is assigned to the MCE Food Factory Director under Montana Correctional Enterprises (MCE). This person enforces compliance with Institutional & USDA guidelines, hires, supervises and trains inmate workforce. Develops and maintains MCE Bakery inventory system, is responsible for the receiving, preparation and delivery of all bakery goods for meals to multiple institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or GED combined with an apprenticeship under a Master Baker or 4 years Bakery experience.

Applicable skills for position are of modern principles, practices, procedures and chemistry used in large scale baking and food production techniques, proficiency in the operation, maintenance and sanitation of highly technical commercial food service equipment. Must have highly developed organizational skills.

Applicants must successfully complete the 40 Servesafe Manager correspondence course within the six-month probationary period.
