Bank Manager
The Bank Manager (BM) is responsible for managing the retail branch and delivering financial results and service that result in growth and profitability for the bank. The BM is responsible for employee productivity and effectiveness through leadership and coaching. This position oversees the branch budget, sales, operations, community involvement, business development, and branch personnel.

Assistant Bank Manager, Personal Bankers, CSR Supervisors, CSRs; may manage more than one branch
Primary Responsibilities and Activities:
The primary duties of a Bank Manager include, but not are not limited to, the following:
- Adheres to the banks vision, mission statement, moments of truth, core competencies, sales and service standards, and the bank operations manual, while coaching their team to do the same
- Hires, develops, maintains the right people by providing on-going training, evaluating, and mentoring
- Adheres and coaches to all bank policies and bank regulations
- Coaches, reviews, and monitors branch staff to ensure all sales and service processes are followed
- Utilize our Customer Relationship Management software program, by documenting important financial information to build and maintain the client’s relationship and follow-up events for future referral opportunities
- Conducts daily huddles, weekly sales meetings, weekly CSR Supervisor meetings, monthly break through banking meetings, monthly security meetings, and attends monthly bank manager’s day
- Conducts outside sales calls, seeking opportunities to promote the banks products and services
- Knows all consumer, business and lending products offered in order to expand customer relationships while following Citizens National Bank’s sales process
- Participates, joins, supports and encourages team participation in local community events, clubs and activities
- Promotes and participates in Bank at Work activities and Financial Literacy opportunities with community partners and area businesses
- Conducts quarterly audits to ensure a rating of Satisfactory or above is maintained
- Seeks opportunities for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credit for bank at works and financial literacy
- Responsible for completing 30/60/90 day progress reports for new employees and annual evaluations for staff
- Responsible for daily work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing
- Operates network computers/software, and other equipment necessary to handle transactions
- Maintains facility image and takes responsibility for security procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum – High School Graduate or GED. Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college preferred
- Three years+ of related work experience, or sales management experience
- Proven successful sales experience
- High Energy with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage people while using administrative and leadership skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to adapt to change
OTHER:
- Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and maneuver around the branch
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and overnight travel may be expected
