Banquet Server Job at Southern Foodservice Management
Southern Foodservice Management Inc., a national contract food service company, is looking for motivated and ambitious Banquet Servers for our Banquet Dining Unit located at the Harbert Center in Downtown Birmingham.
The Harbert Center host Corporate, Community, and Private Events. Southern Foodservice Management, the exclusive caterer for the Harbert Center prepares and serves some of the finest food in Birmingham and has been doing so since The Harbert Center opened in 1986. From muffins to upscale receptions and elegant plated dinners, our chef and banquet staff design menus to suit any event
Shifts are primarily Monday - Friday during the day, with shifts also occasionally on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Job Requirements:
- 1 year food server restaurant experience
- Event/catering server experience
- Be energetic and enthusiastic
- Be customer service oriented
- Knowledge of HACCP and Food Code, Sanitation and Safety Procedures
- Full understanding of proper food handling and sanitation standards
- ServSafe Certified
