Bar Supervisor Job at Shadow Ridge Country Club
Shadow Ridge Country Club is seeking a Bar Supervisor for our Men’s Lounge and Golfer’s Grill. The ideal individual will be a strong, professional leader with the ability to assist the Food and Beverage Managers in achieving the quality customer service experience that Shadow Ridge Country Club is known for.
A typical day would include…
- Overseeing the Men’s Lounge, as well as the Belfry Grill operations
- Providing attentive and hospitable service to the needs of our members and guests
Requirements…
- Greet Members/guests promptly and courteously
- Establish friendly, professional relationships with Members
- Lead employees using a positive approach and holding them accountable to the standards of the Club
- Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
- Maintain the bar area, before, during and after shift to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness.
- The input of orders into the Point of Sale computer.
- Ensure Member/guest satisfaction throughout their stay, including drink refills and removal of empty glasses.
- Deliver check promptly, complete transaction and thank guests for coming.
- Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
The ideal candidate is/has…
- Experience in a country club environment
- Willing to work rotating shifts and holidays
- Outgoing, confident, courteous and professional
- Ability to operate computerized POS system, and accurately conduct credit card transactions
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
- Team Player, ability to work within a team environment
