Job Title: Barber
Location: JBSA Ft Sam Houston, TX
Duties:
- Shall cut hair in accordance with the customer's instructions.
- A variety of magazines not more than 60 days old, in a minimum quantity of one magazine for every customer waiting chair, should be available.
- Shall ensure that the barber shop facility is kept clean and orderly at all times, and that sanitary procedures include a thorough daily cleaning of wall units, chairs, and floors.
- Shall practice personal hygiene at all times.
Education & Certifications:
- Must be a Texas State Licensed Barber to perform services under this contract and will retain a current license throughout the period of contract performance. All State Health and Sanitary regulations shall be complied with in the performance of this contract.
- The license must be kept current and all Texas State License fees will be the responsibility of the candidate. The license shall be displayed at all times.
Qualifications & Training:
- Shall be fully qualified to provide barbering services to all authorized customers without regard to ethnic origin.
- Must have at least one year barbershop experience (time can include training).
