Caffeine Connection Café is more than just another coffee shop. We are a gathering place and our customers are our focus. We are a locally owned and managed coffee shop with three locations.

Our first location is in the Chalet Shopping Center at 56th and Summitview offering espresso, Red Bull drinks, and light food options. We also provide indoor and outdoor seating with a quiet, cozy atmosphere to gather with friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy hand-crafted coffee, wine, beer, and conversation.

The next location is the Soda Fountain at Museum. This location is in the lower level of the Museum and looks out on Franklin Park. It offers ice cream and milkshakes, espresso, Red Bull drinks, and light food options. It has the feel of an old time soda fountain with the bar seating and additional indoor and outdoor seating.

Our newest location is in the Valley Mall. We are located in the center of the mall offering espresso, Red Bull drinks, ice-cream, and light food options including cheese zombies! Similar to the chalet location we provide seating with a cozy atmosphere to gather with friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy hand-crafted coffee, wine, beer, and conversation while on a shopping break at the mall.

Barista Job Responsibilities:

• Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling espresso and additional drink options, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies and light food options.
• Basic knowledge of wine and beer to answer customer questions and serve desired product.
• Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies and other supplies for the café.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; notifying management for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Work Hours & Benefits.

Hours of operation are (hours vary by location):

6:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday thru Friday

7:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday

9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sundays

Hours will change seasonally
