Barista/Assistant Manager Job at Lehman Mercantile
Looking for a barista to work in cafe/bake shop And help manage daily responsibilities. Willing to train the right person. Must be reliable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing our full menu of espresso, tea, and coffee drinks (latte, cappuccino, etc.)
Becoming knowledgeable about specific roasts, teas, brewing temps, etc.
Preparing homemade syrups and ice teas.
Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and offering a receipt to every customer.
Designing weekly drink specials with the owner/manager.
Maintaining a clean workspace.
Serving customers pastries to go and for dine-in.Sanitizing and wiping down tables.
Washing and drying dishes in sink and dishwasher.
Cleaning espresso, coffee machines, refrigerator and kitchen at the end of day.
Wiping down display cases and putting pastries away for following morning.
Wiping down outside of syrup bottles used during shift.
Emptying trash cans/take out the trash. Emptying used towel bin.
Sanitizing the sinks.
Making sure bathroom is stocked/clean.
Vacuuming the carpets and sweeping the floors at end of the shift.
