About "Cafe Maru":
We are To-go restaurant and cafe combined as one! Serving quality food and beverages to our customers!
Cafe Maru is looking for baristas to join our team! The detailed scheduling will be done through the interview, but the estimated working time would be 30-35hrs/week.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Keep all areas of the cafe professional, clean, and organized
- Accurately take orders and ring them into the POS with minimal mistakes
- Learn thoroughly and and craft espresso drinks to company standards
- Communicate any and all relevant information to Cafe Manager, Assistant Manager, and fellow cafe staff in a respectful manner
- Bring positive and enthusiastic energy
- Rotate inventory and order ingredients for optimal stock on inventory control
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines with care
- Be efficient, use time and ingredients wisely
Job Requirements:
- A current Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
- Able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet
- Barista Experience 2 years and up
- Experienced or willing to learn about cashier POS system
