Who you are: Bartenders fill drink orders either directly from customers at the bar or through servers who place drink orders for dining room customers. Bartenders must know a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks correctly, quickly, and without waste. They also must work well with waiters and waitresses and other kitchen staff to ensure that customers receive prompt service.
In addition to mixing and serving drinks, bartenders stock and prepare garnishes for drinks and maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies. They also may wash glassware and utensils and serve food to customers who eat at the bar. Bartenders are responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixers, and other bar supplies.
What you’ll do:
- Mix drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, ice cream, milkshakes, soda pop and fruits, including standard and unique drinks
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed
- Keep bar area clean, safe and organized in order to to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Collect money for drinks served and providing change as needed; Balance cash receipts; Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night
- Mix all drinks based on the standard serving sizes and following recipes
- Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times
- Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Monitoring all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior
What we need from you:

- A confident, welcoming and professional attitude.
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills`
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift and carry chairs, tables, trays, and food/beverages
- One year of customer service/restaurant experience is preferred
