What does a Suites at Rouse Baylor LPN Team Lead do?
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with staff, as well as other departments within and outside of the facility to assure that the department services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
- Oversee staff and facility operations on weekends.
- Coordinate Nursing Services with other departments.
- Communicate regularly with Leadership/Administrative staff to keep accurate understudy of any changes or problems solving needs that affect all shifts.
- Work with the facility’s consultants as necessary and implement recommended changes as directed by the Administrator/Director of Clinical Services.
- Gives/receives nursing shift report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours if applicable.
- Conducts orientation of newly hired employees as well as supervise and instruct other personnel.
- Orient new residents/family members as necessary.
- Provide training to new shift hires.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are the requirements to be an Baylor LPN Team Lead at the Suites at Rouse?
- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program with valid PA nursing license.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other health-related medical facility and minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Must be willing and able to successfully complete annual dementia training through DHS.
