Beach Complex Attendant

Summary

The Beach Complex Attendant is responsible for opening the Exercise Pavilion and Fitness Building each morning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as related to this position that may be assigned.

Opens the fitness building and exercise building.

Ensures completion of daily cleaning duties in all Fitness Facilities.

Straightens umbrellas and beach chairs around the pool area and ensures pool is clean and free from debris and checks all pools and water temperatures.

Couriers Fitness and Spa employees to and from parking lot at the beginning and end of shifts, as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of 3 years work experience in pool maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid CPR and AED certifications

Valid driver’s license.

Aquatic Facility Operator and Commercial Pool Maintenance Certification is not required but would be helpful in this position.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception, the ability to bring an object into sharp focus, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
