The Lakes is located on the beautiful Lake Tulloch waterfront. We are licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services to treat substance misuse and co-occurring disorders, certified to provide onsite Incidental Medical Services, and designated by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to provide low and high intensity residential treatment. Additionally, The Lakes Treatment Center has received accreditation from The Joint Commission, one of the most esteemed and respected accreditation agencies in the nation.

The Lakes is not your normal residential care home, we are an addiction treatment facility! Treating addiction bring its own challenges, but it also means that you won’t have to do many of the “less desirable” duties required in most care homes (i.e., lifting/ambulating patients, toileting, bathing, or cleaning nasty stuff). Instead, duties here revolve around supervision and facilitation of daily schedules including group sessions, mealtimes, and other activities.

Our treatment philosophy revolves around the individual, incorporating a variety of therapeutic components thoughtfully combined to create an effective treatment program that reflects the individuality of those we serve. Each person we serve brings with them a unique personality that has been shaped by their own personal journey. No two individuals’ path to recovery will be the same just as no two individuals take the same path to treatment. Our program will promote this uniqueness.

Preferred Requirements and Skills

- Please note, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by September 30, 2021 if employed by The Lakes Treatment Center. (Per CDPH/DHCS rule implemented 8/5/21)

- Availability for multiple shifts

- Professionalism, ethics, and healthy boundaries

- Ability to complete duties with minimal supervision

- Computer competence (email, basic electronic records)

Duties and Responsibilities

- Understanding of addiction and mental health issues.

- Facilitate daily schedules including but not limited to groups, meals, medication times, appointments, UAs, etc.

- Establish productive rapport with residents to assist in their recovery.

- Document relevant notes within an electronic health record.

- Perform detox, high risk, and medical checks as required.

- Keep all residents accounted for at all times.

- Perform required cleaning and maintenance duties to support infection control procedures.

- Document full shift reports to all staff sent via email.

- Complete other tasks as needed and assigned by Administration.
