About the Job

Responsibilities:

• Conduct strengths-based. trauma-informed, and culturally-humble assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families;
• Partner with clients and identified collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs;
• Build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients through various modalities (individual, couple, family, group, in office, outreach, telehealth) based on client preference and need;
• Offer services at times convenient to clients to include some evenings;
• Coordinate services with and provide consultation to other systems on behalf of clients, such as schools, medical providers, case workers/care coordinators, etc.
• Document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other human service field (required)
• 1 year of therapeutic experience (preferred)
• Clinical licensure (preferred)
• Completion of DCFS criminal background check (Required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age, obtain an insured vehicle, clean driving record, and three years driving record with a valid driver's license
