Behavioral Health Therapist – Office and School-Based - McDowell

We are looking for a full-time compassionate and talented therapist who is committed to clinical excellence to provide high quality behavioral health and integrated care services to patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Includes but not limited to the following:

• Assess and treat cognitive, behavioral, and emotional problems, using individual, family and/or group therapies
• Conduct behavioral health biopsychosocial assessments for all new patients
• Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral symptoms and provide diagnoses utilizing DSM-5-TR health services to youth and adults
• Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team in an integrated care setting
• Collaboration with school staff and behavioral health team in a school-based setting

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master’s level educational program in counseling, clinical social work

· Completion of the clinical/practical internships required by the accredited master’s level educational program

· Current and unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

· Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) preferred or willingness to work toward obtaining LCAS

· Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) desirable, but not required
