Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a
hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Assists in the development, execution, and management of all global benefit and wellness program design and implementation to provide for the protection of current and former employees while complying with all government regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and presentation materials to effectively communicate benefits programs and wellness initiatives, support new hire orientations, open enrollment, and related updates.
- Analyzes benefits data and trends, identifies problems and issues and recommends solutions. Provides advisory and consultative services for HRBPs in organizational units regarding plan interpretation, administration, and complex problem resolution
- Manages the administration of all benefit programs. Ensures response to employee and vendor requests is timely and accurate
- Creatively think about employee wellbeing and inclusion and pro-actively identify opportunities to better serve the workforce with a suite of benefits offerings that align with organization’s values.
- Work with external partners to benchmark and assess current programs and policies to understand any gaps in existing plans, and costs associated with potential shifts of benefits & wellness offerings.
- Develop mechanisms to understand return on investment and make recommendations on any needed shifts in strategy or spend for benefits & wellness programs.
- Monitors and rectifies issues and enrollment in 401(k). Main liaison to correct or make requests from vendor. In conjunction with vendor, develops and reviews communication and educational programs regarding plan to ensure that employees understand investment options and rules of the plan. Prepares and submits annual compliance filings as required.
- Manages and monitors performance of benefits and wellness vendor relationships to assure proper level of satisfaction and ensure vendors continue to monitor costs and financial impact of plans to organization. Reviews and suggests plan alternatives. Participates in vendor selection. Responsible for interpreting plan provisions, interacting with external vendors and legal over complex issues, and resolving problems within the scope of plan parameters
- Communicates policy and procedure changes to employees, HRBPs, vendors, and others
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge of global benefits, benefits plan design experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Leadership and relationship skills
- Excellent communication
- Highly organized, analytical and ability to solve problems
- Strong written and verbal communications with an executive presence
- 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
