GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

R-V Industries is a design and build manufacturer of custom industrial process equipment. We manufacture a line of steam autoclaves used primarily in the life science field. This product line is a highly configurable standard product that addresses simple lab decontamination to cGMP BSL 3 applications. Our objective is to differentiate our product by providing market leading energy efficiency, process flexibility, and non-proprietary components backed by excellent service and support.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Assembler is responsible for the execution of autoclave assembling. This will include the following aptitude, abilities, and responsibilities:
• Ability to read drawings.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Attention to detail for finish products / detail orientated.
• Strong organization skills.
• A teachable attitude, with the ability to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work in a team environment.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (will train the right candidate)

• Safety awareness and hazard analysis cGMP installation protocols
• PNID diagrams BSL3 installation protocols
• Arrangement or construction drawings cGMP documentation protocols
• Wiring diagrams BSL3 documentation protocols
• Autoclave function SAT protocols
• High mechanical aptitude Device calibrations
• Verbal communication Temperature mapping
• Written communication (e-mail) IQ protocol execution
• Organized PLC control systems
• Self disciplined with attention to detail
• Pneumatic controls and piping
• Steam piping installation

EDUCATIONAL/PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Specific technical or vocational training is a plus
• Everyday lifting of 25 – 50lbs
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
• Perform repetitive tasks every day.
• Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Every day repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement, involving gripping and wrist torquing.
• Every day standing, walking, bending, crouching, and stopping.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to pass a physical assessment.
