BHJOB15656_18323 - Cisco System Engineer Job at Myticas Consulting
The recruitment team is looking to backfill a position with our direct client who has a need for a CISCO systems engineer to aid with the deployment of CISCO lifecycle products.
The initial contract will be for four months.
The systems engineer will work closely with the clients NS product team on the following type of work: testing, prototyping, documentation, validation, auditing, troubleshooting and analysis of CISCO products in our lab and production environments.
The following section describes the services and associated deliverables:
- Execute plans for Deployment of CISCO Lifecycle product
- Prototyping / configuration of CISCO networking solutions in the lab
- Assist in the day-to-day preparations with the project team to ensure successful deployments
- Preparation of Build books for CISCO products
- Pre-release testing for deployments
- Development and documentation of test templates and test results
- Troubleshoot issues with installation hardware, networking protocols, End-device hardware which includes setup and testing in the lab
- Research on protocol and configuration problems and providing findings
- Assist with capturing lessons learned on an ongoing basis
- Provide status updates to Project Manager
- Lab prototypes
- Test templates
- Build books
- Monthly status reports and timesheets
- Switch and AP audits
