Bilingual HR Recruiter / Assistant Job at GSF USA, Inc.
Summary: Conduct, assist with, and support GSF Ohio human resources functions including reception, hourly staff recruitment / hiring, HRMS processing, and HR file maintenance. Assist the HR Generalist with administration related to workers compensation, safety, unemployment, and other administrative support functions. Bilingual in Spanish required.
Type of Supervision: Reporting to the GSF Ohio Human Resources Generalist this position is expected to perform tasks independently once sufficiently trained. The HR Generalist sets this position’s work schedule, assignments, special projects, priorities, and manages performance. Additional guidance and work may be assigned by the Director of Human Resources, GSF USA, Inc.
HR Duties
Update and maintain listing of open positions. Process employment applications and pre-employment background checks. Screen and select applicants to fill open hourly positions based on set selection criteria. Review credentials of potential hourly employees to establish eligibility to work. Complete the hiring process and initial orientation.
Create and continuously maintain employee HR files. Perform related audits as assigned.
Complete employment verifications, verification letters, and address other requests from employees.
Maintains HR database with employee information and status changes.
Maintain records regarding local company property issued to employees (uniforms, pagers, keys, etc.)
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Perform employee relations activities involving the Human Resource Generalist as directed or necessary.
Assist with workers compensation administration (1st report of injury, correspondence to carrier, etc.), and safety administration.
Assist with unemployment responses and administration.
Skills Required
2 to 3 years recruiting experience
Ability to multi-task and build strong working relationships.
Ability to work independently.
Innovative thinker and the ability to make continuous process improvements.
Strong interpersonal communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish Required
Strong planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and technological skills are required
