Bilingual Human Resources Assistant- New Brighton, MN Job at Mission Foods
GENERAL JOB FUNCTION
Provide support for all areas of Human Resources department with the maintenance of personnel files, orientations, hourly recruiting, SSFF HR module, and employee training and benefits.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties and requirements directly substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position.
1. Maintains employee personnel files, by filing all documents.
2. Assist with New-Hire orientations on a weekly basis or as needed.
3. Assist in the On-boarding and training of new employees
4. Maintains and inputs all employee information on SSFF HR module.
5. Processes all Employee Status Notice (ESN’s), Request for time off, vacations, LOA’s, transfers, change of address, and terminations.
6. Participates in the recruitment of all hourly personnel. Screening, recruiting, and interviewing potential employees.
7. Assists all employees with benefits, processes enrollment forms, and conducts open enrollment.
8. Assist in coordinating events focused on employee recognition
9. Prepares new employee files.
10. Accurately maintain employee files
11. Responsible for ADP payroll processing.
12. Facilities resolution to any payroll issues.
13. Maintains computer system by updating and entering data for HR reports.
14. Provide management with requested reports and documents.
15. Participate in employee activities and committees
16. Interacts with department managers, supervisors, and employees daily.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
B. REQUIRED SKILLS
Education Level:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- College Degree preferred
C. Experience
- 1-2 year of administrative background
- 1-2 years in an HR position preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Communication Skills
- Bilingual preferred
