OneWorld operates fast-paced and exciting primary care clinics, and we are looking for a bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. Our MAs are essential members of the clinical team, providing high-quality care to underserved populations in a culturally diverse setting. MAs at OneWorld work at the top of their license; they prep patients for their appointments, check vitals, assist providers with procedures, prepare specimens, manage patient call lists, stock and clean exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and order medical supplies.

We are offering full-time and part-time positions at our satellite clinic in Northwest Omaha (N. 90th) The schedule will generally be between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with rotating evening shifts (until 8pm) as needed.

We are also offering a $2,000 HIRING BONUS after 90 days of employment.

To ensure the safety of our patients, employees, and communities, OneWorld Community Health Centers is requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective November 15th, 2021. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED required, OR must be actively pursuing a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Medical Assisting diploma required; current AAMA certification preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
  • Medication Aide required within three months of hire.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office products required; prior experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
