Position Description

The Epic Willow Ambulatory and Professional Billing Analyst is a dual-team role reporting to the Willow Ambulatory Application Project Manager and working under the direction of the Professional Billing/Claims Application Project Manager. The Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the discovery, design, configuration, and maintenance of the Willow Ambulatory application and Epic Professional Billing modules with a focus on Charge Router functionality. The Epic Willow Ambulatory and Professional Billing Analyst will be responsible for observing and translating operational requirements into Willow Ambulatory and Professional Billing modules system build and configuration and through collaboration with analysts and application managers on both teams. The Analyst will possess knowledge of best practice Hi Melissa! professional billing requirements, policies and procedures and will provide configuration and technical support for Willow Ambulatory and Professional Billing modules during and after implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

» Attending Epic training classes to obtain required certifications in Willow Ambulatory, Resolute and ancillary professional billing modules.

» Meeting with operational, administrative, billing staff and end-users to understand key workflows, pharmacy requirements and affiliate billing requirements.

» Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization’s workflows through integrated sessions and by attending site-visits as needed.

» Guiding pharmacy and professional billing workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues that arise associated with Epic software.

» Working with project stakeholders to complete design, build, and testing tasks in accordance with the project plan.

» Identifying issues that arise within application areas as well as issues that impact other application teams and working to reach resolution.

» Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.

» Acting as the primary support contact for the application’s end-users.

» Participating in training and working with end users to troubleshoot problems and questions.

» Maintaining regular communication with project representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.

» Translating knowledge of best-practice design, build, and testing techniques throughout the implementation and ongoing support phases.

Preferred

» Possesses prior Epic certification in one or all of the following: ResoluteProfessional Billing Administration and Charge Router,[SM1][KM2]Willow Ambulatory Administration, Charge Router Administration.

» Possesses prior Planned Parenthood experience.

» Background in professional billing, medical coding, or claims administration.

» Possesses prior experience with professional billing workflows, charge capture and routing, claims management and insurance follow up, and healthcare insurance requirements.

» Possesses prior experience with large data gathering efforts and completing current state assessments and gap analyses of technology.

» Prior experience with professional billing design and implementation efforts.

» Possess prior pharmacy experience or background.

Pay: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
