Billing and Insurance Specialist Job at Kehoe Eye Care, PC
Looking for someone with a bright personality and "can-do" attitude, knowledge of medical billing / collection practices a plus. Extremely detail oriented and a strong problem solver. Good History of customer service and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
Process claims for products and service for Vision and Medical Plans
Verify patient data for billing accuracy
Pre-Verification of Insurance coverage and benefits prior to patients appointment
Handling all patient's insurance and billing questions
Process monthly patient statements
Posting insurance and patient payments
Maximize insurance reimbursements through routine billing audits.
Process delinquent accounts for collections
Answer phone lines
Assist with Front Desk duties
Schedule appointments
Perform other duties as required
In this position, your skills and your experience place you at the top. Patients will appreciate your assistance in navigating the complex rules and regulations of insurance companies. You will be a valued member of a family friendly clinic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
