APPLICANTS WILL BE EMPLOYED AT A RATE OF $100.00 PER DAY
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate
- U.S. citizen
- Fulton County property owner (must provide proof)
- No felony convictions
Example of Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in weekly hearings deciding/determining Fulton County taxpayers':
- appeals of the value;
- uniformity of value and taxability of real and personal property;
- exemption denials and
- current use determinations.
- Assuring that all real and personal property entered on the county's assessment roll is at true and fair market value.
Minimum Qualifications
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
- Applicants will be selected for participation after an interview with the Fulton County Grand Jurors;
- Applicants must satisfactorily complete 40 hours of Department of Revenue certified state-mandated training before participating as a member of the Board.
- Applicants may not hold an elected office or be employed by Fulton County.
