We're looking for candidates to join our Apprenticeship Program and receive paid training to become a professional piercer at Studs.
Our Apprenticeship Program is a minimum 6-week commitment and includes classroom style learning, observation, and hands-on training. Upon successful completion of the program, you'll receive a full-time piercing position at a growing nationwide brand that offers:

We're looking for Boston-based apprentices to join our training program that will kickoff in our Austin studio locations on 1/16/2023. Graduated apprentices will become full-time piercers at our Back Bay studio location.
As an apprentice, you will be taught various skills to become a well-rounded piercer including: Sterilization; bedside manner; piercing techniques; workplace safety practices; materials, equipment, and supplies training. At Studs we only pierce ears and we only use single use needles.
Requirements:
- 3 years of work experience, including two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (performing venipunctures and / or finger sticks)
- 40 hours per week; you must be available for five shifts per week including all weekend days
- Must be able to pierce while standing during 8+ hour shifts
- Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day, 5 days a week
- Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings
- Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
- Must be able to handle chemicals safely
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs boxes
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experience
- Travel to Austin during training
- Interest in potentially relocating to new Studs locations
