Position: (MALIN+GOETZ) Nordstrom Brand Ambassador

PT Freelance Sales - 10-15 Hours per week (5 hour shifts, weekend and peak hours scheduling)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; Position services Nordstrom @ The Grove and Westfield Century City

Position Description

(MALIN+GOETZ) is looking for dynamic Brand Ambassadors that are focused, motivated and assertive to service and sell within Nordstrom in the Los Angeles market. Ideal candidates are passionate about people, skincare, and (MALIN+GOETZ). This position will maximize sales goals, training, education, merchandising, relationship building, and new opportunities for long term advancement.

You must be independent, self-starter, dynamic, persuasive and articulate while focused on sales goals and results within our company parameters.

Position Overview

Daily sales, merchandising, client building, training and education (as needed), and building store relationships as Brand Ambassador.

Position services multiple stores in the LA area. Reliable transportation required.

Position requires weekend scheduling (Fri-Sun) and scheduling during peak hours on busiest shopping days and holidays.

Position Requirements

Sales

  • Responsible for the sales performance of the assigned doors, the sales associate will proactively strive to reach the company sales goals and targets.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest company launches and promotions/offers.
  • Ability to create and recognize marketing and promotional opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Providing reliable support to wholesale partner as sales, product, and brand expert while building relationship with top accounts to strengthen business.

Retail Experience

  • Responding to the questions of customers by recommending an appropriate routine or product to meet their needs according to company product information and guidance.
  • Effectively sampling the customer with other products to further build their regimen.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to recognize and courteously adapt communication and sales approach to distinct personalities and accounts.
  • Providing engaging product demonstrations and consultations for both skincare products and fragrance.
  • Developing new and creative strategies to obtain additional business from present and prospective customers.

Store Maintenance + Procedures

  • Maintaining an exemplary standard of cleanliness and merchandising within the wholesale environment.
  • Following company guidelines for product display and merchandising.
  • Following company guidelines for personal grooming and dress.
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with store teams including: Beauty and outside depts, visual team, and management.

Experience + Skills:

  • A proven track record in Retail Sales, preferably with experience in Beauty and Customer Service.
  • Beauty Experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
