Old Brooklyn Cheese Company inside of Van Aken Market Hall in Shaker Heights is currently looking for a part-time employee to prepare breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings! A simple menu of breakfast sandwiches and eggs, served from 9am-12pm.
Shifts begin at 8am and would go until 1/2pm. Ideal candidates will have experience working on flat-top griddle, as well as basic egg cookery skills. Candidates will also cross-train on full menu, which is based around gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.
Candidates who are interested in learning/doing more will be given priority consideration, as ideally we are looking for someone who would like to learn the entire operation and work 3-4 shifts per week, around 20/25 hours. This will include learning to sell cheese, prepare cheese & charcuterie boards/platters, working with customers, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
