Boojum Brewing Company is seeking candidates for a brewing position.

ABOUT BOOJUM

Boojum Brewery is a 9000 sqft facility located in the beautiful mountains of Western NC. The brewery is in the town of Waynesville, NC, 30 minutes west of Asheville. We work with a 15BBL ABE brewhouse and use 15, 30 & 60BBL fermenters & a CraftBloc rotary 100 CPM canning line. We currently produce around 4000 BBL of beer for our large, downtown taproom & the Western NC region. We produce over 20 different styles available in cans & on draft per year as well as numerous one-off and small batch beers. Boojum is a family owned and operated brewery that opened in January of 2015. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Brewer is primarily responsible for the hot side, making sure all beer is brewed accurately and efficiently according to Boojum’s procedures and schedule. The work will mainly include brewing, CIPs, SIPs, and yeast management. As part of our small brewing team you will have the opportunity to learn or hone your skills in all aspects of operating the brewery including brewing on the 15bbl brewhouse, cellaring & developing products from concept to larger scale production.

HOURS

Hours may vary depending on the brewers’ preferences, staffing and production needs, but generally follow either a 7am-3pm 1st shift, 11am-7pm 2nd shift or 9am-5pm single shift weekdays. We usually do not brew on the weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

1+ years experience working in a brewery
Strong focus and attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple tasks with efficiency
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
21+
