The Marine Construction Installer role is part of our team that operates as our Construction Department building docks and installing boatlifts and seawalls. We have framing, seawall and barge crews. Stokes Marine is looking for Marine Construction Installers and dock builders in Fort Myers, FL effective immediately. Marine Construction Installers build and install docks, boatlifts, boardwalks, seawalls, canopies, boathouses, etc. We will train!

Responsibilities:

Efficiently assist your crew with the building of new construction projects from start to finish. Must be available Monday-Friday starting at 7 AM. Ending time may be variable. Weekend work is available if desired. Up to 20 overtime hours are available if desired weekly.

• Some heavy lifting is required.
• Knowledge of power tools
• Compliance with our Drug Free Workplace Program
• Carpentry, concrete, hydraulic equipment operation, experience a plus.
• Will train the right person that has mechanical or hands on aptitude.
• Prefer a clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
• All offers of employment are contingent on background screen and pre-employment drug screen.

Compensation Description:

First year total compensation typically ranges from $48,000-$60,000. Increased starting wages available for those with mid to high-level experience or certifications. (CDL, Crane Certifications, Barge Operators, Highly Experienced Carpenters, etc.) Weekly hours currently average 50 hours per week but there is opportunity for up to 60 hours per week if desired. We pay for all drive time to job sites. We do not have you clock out for lunch. Overtime will be paid for all hours over 40 hours. Starting pay is based on experience. We have a monthly bonus program that is in addition to hourly wages. You are eligible to participate in the monthly bonus program in your first full month of employment. Increases in pay are available in first 90 days and many see promotions to crew leader positions within their first year of employment. We are rapidly expanding and have many advancement opportunities.
