What You’ll Do:

• Understand, analyze and document emerging business processes specifically regarding data acquisition and ingestion.
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions
• Work with the business to analyze requirements by constructing workflow diagrams, studying system capabilities, and documenting system specifications
• Work with Solution Engineering team to recommend operational procedures to increase productivity using Samba Products
• Monitor implementation of projects from inception to completion
• Maintain a repository of system protocols by writing and updating procedures
• Gather meta-data information, evaluating output requirements and formats
• Use a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the extended enterprise by attending solution workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal rapport with customer/partner teams

What you’ll need:

• Successful Business Systems Analysts at SambaSafety, have certain skills and qualifications, including:
• Sharp problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Expert-level knowledge around data acquisition/ingestion and Samba’s Driver Safety Monitoring industry.
• Solid technical background and skilled at developing queries and presenting them in Excel Spreadsheets to a non-technical audience
• Experience with one or more Data Analytics Tools - e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas into simple language
