Business Analytics Advisor -Evernorth Health Services -Remote Job at The Cigna Group
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analytics Advisor who will partner closely with stakeholders and other Agile delivery teams to define opportunities, collect and refine requirements, and participate in the delivery of Reporting Hub tool. Our departments’ goal is to improve unit costs and contract structure by leveraging insights from provider, claim, and competitive intelligence data integrated across the Affordability Management Platform. Our products are developed through an agile framework and will enable our Network Analytics, Contracting, and Pricing partners to achieve affordability goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of strategic roadmap, underlying data, and reporting needs for product delivery and rollout.
Research and Collaborate with matrix partners to identify best solutions, close data gaps, and fix technical issues.
Validate and Test product functionality and algorithms to ensure alignment with business key objectives.
Support Business and Technical Product Owners in prioritization of deliverables and writing User Stories and/or Features.
Assist with preparation of training materials for end users and monitoring usage of tools for improved adoption.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3+ years’ experience in a health plan-related field
Experience with provider contract management and modeling tools preferred.
Strong business and data analytical skills - Advanced Excel + SQL required, SAS preferred.
Ability to integrate large volumes of data from various sources, manipulate, and interpret.
Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions, leverage data science and technology savvy.
Experience in enterprise project delivery driving significant change and value enhancement.
Must be able to engage, motivate, and inspire others in a high-performance culture.
Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to operate in an agile environment.
Passion for driving decisions using data-driven insights to directly impact company growth.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
