This position can be based in any of the following offices: Downtown Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County, Washington DC, Chicago, Del Mar, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Dallas. There is only one opening.
The Business Development and Marketing Specialist is a member of the Business Development and Marketing Department and reports to the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager. The primary areas of responsibility include supporting the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager on core marketing activities and projects related to the national Healthcare Industry Team. The individual will be part of a cross-functional team and should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong writing and organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines, have impeccable attention to detail and be extremely collaborative. Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Computer/Software Knowledge
Required: Strong computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
Preferred: Knowledge of InterAction and Vuture is a plus.
Work Environment
A fun, fast paced environment. Overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Requirements
Less than 25%.
The pay range for this position is $29.00 to $46.00 per hour.

This position has a remote/hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation to be in the office on an as needed basis.

Essential Functions of Job:
Support the Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager on a variety of projects that may include:

- Preparing pitchbooks and responses to RFPs
- Keeping marketing materials for designated practices up to date and helping to create new materials as necessary
- Monitoring the collection of matter experience
- Assisting with submissions to rankings and directories
- Researching industries, clients and prospects
- Updating content on firm’s intranet pages including marketing materials, business plans, presentations, and other resources
- Updating practice group and team rosters on website and Outlook distribution lists
- Working with the events team to strategize, plan, and manage programs and webinars for clients and prospective clients, including building mailing lists and staffing programs when needed
- Support market visibility and thought leadership activities for the Healthcare attorneys
- Managing the firm’s sponsorship of relevant conferences
- Support of specific client teams, including monitoring client activity
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of marketing experience. Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, willingness and ability to work independently handling multiple tasks with multiple deadlines, attention to detail and a team-player.
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of marketing experience at a law firm or other professional services environment (e.g., private equity firm, consulting firm).
