Business Development Consultant Job at Hermann Transportation Services
Randall Reilly is seeking a talented and competitive Business Development Consultant that thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Business Development Consultant will partner with the Sales team by identifying ideal target prospects, prioritizing by potential and utilizing a multi-channel prospecting approach to deliver qualified opportunities. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting, developing relationships and presenting our company to potential customers.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role:
- Regular client engagement via phone or in person as needed
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound contact.
- Meet or exceed targets related to activities, sales opportunities resulting in a meeting and customer acquisition.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products and remain up to date on industry news.
- Utilize reporting system, aggregated data and CRM tools to aid in tracking and managing prospect base.
- Ability to quickly identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/solutions.
- Research accounts to identify key contacts and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within assigned business segment
- Adhere to all quality standards and processes
- Provide regular feedback to management about the market and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Experience with Digital Marketing and leveraging data and insights to help clients succeed.
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Able to assess a problem or situation using effective logic
- Proactively seeks new business opportunities in the market.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

The following compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided in accordance with applicable state laws. The base salary generally ranges between $22.18/hour - $25.30/hour + commission. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills, experience, and training.
