Constellation West is seeking a Business Development Director CCMDs, Services, Agencies

Leverage executive relationship skills with acquisition, management, and senior level clients within combatant commands and other related federal agencies. Leverage executive relationships with business development, management, and senior level leadership within federal contractor industry. Apply insights and share understanding acquisition schedule, customer business, professional, and technical requirements. Participate in industry activities and develop organization specific forecast, call plan, and solutions. Identify actual or potential opportunities when Constellation West can participate as a prime contractor or subcontractor through competed task orders, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, blanket purchase agreement or similar) or direct awards.

Work with corporate counterparts and support staff to craft solutions for customer requirements. Participate in whitepaper development, responses to requests for information/sources sought notices, and requestions for proposals concentrating on business, professional, and technical solutions specific to requirements and Constellation West and corporate partner capabilities. Work with capture, program, and proposal managers in assessing corporate contract vehicles, capabilities, experience, past performance, key teammates, and personnel as part of pursuit and proposal development.

Schedule, attend, and participate in meetings with customers. Attend and participate in Government and organization industry events. Build trust with customers resulting in prime contracts or subcontracts awarded to Constellation West on its Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts, schedules, or other procurement methods. Assist in shaping Government opportunities with respect to acquisition requirements including contract vehicle. Understand corporate and partner capabilities and make recommendations how best to inform customers, including teammates, of those capabilities and make recommendations for insertion of innovative tools and processes to differentiate Constellation West in a manner that results in an executable contract where performance can meet and exceed requirements.

As part of an ongoing business development effort: work within and across multiple targeted agencies/organizations; work within and across multiple targeted capabilities; work within and across multiple opportunities. Some of these efforts will be sequential and others may be simultaneous. Provide updates to ongoing business development efforts both in writing and orally to company internal staff.
