As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by generating qualified opportunities that consistently convert into revenue. Setting up our team for success is a top priority for us, so we provide comprehensive tools, training, and support to help each salesperson reach their potential. We challenge our BDEs to think critically about our target market, our solution, and our customers. You will learn a ton, work hard, and have a lot of fun along the way. This is a US-based position and may be located in NYC or remote.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Research and navigate assigned accounts to identify the best prospects to target based on client ICPs and BPs
  • Engage prospects through email, warm calling, and LinkedIn touches
  • Respond to prospects and handle objections accordingly
  • Generate interest from prospects, book and run intro calls to understand prospects’ needs, qualify new opportunities, and book demos
  • Maintain detailed, organized notes and provide feedback on the process, messaging, and ICPs to the business team to support our ongoing efforts to develop a world-class sales organization

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ months BDE/BDR/SDR experience at a software company, with a strong track record of success
  • Experience doing your own prospecting, making calls, writing emails, and engaging prospects on Linkedin
  • Experience qualifying opportunities and handing off to an AE
  • Experience prospecting and engaging Director and VP level execs at software companies with 100+ employees
  • Excellent note taking, process management and follow-through skills
  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator
  • A big plus:
    • Formal sales training
    • Exposure to solution selling techniques
    • Experience using Outreach.io and SFDC
